This Angel Food Flag Cake is light, airy and just sweet enough! It’s easy to make and even easier to share as a 9×13 sheet cake! Paired with fresh whipped cream and fresh fruit in the design of a flag, it’s the perfect dessert for the Fourth of July!

INGREDIENTS

ANGEL FOOD CAKE
  • 2/3 cup (87g) cake flour
  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp (233g) sugar, divided
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup egg whites (about 8 egg whites)
  • 1 tsp cream of tarter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
WHIPPED CREAM
  • 2 cups (480ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 cup (115g) powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Strawberries, sliced
  • Blueberries
